Join Glover's Marblehead Regiment

Welcome!

Glover's Marblehead Regiment welcomes into membership any individual or family wishing to join the group and take part in its activities. There are no age limits, and the only requirement is an interest in American history and a willingness to fully participate in meetings and events. The group, a registered 501(C)(3) non-profit, is governed by established by-laws, and generally follows standard Colonial drilling practices. Copies of the by-laws and drilling manual are available to members on request.

Families

Glover's Regiment today has begun more than ever to resemble a typical colonial military unit that, in the 1770s, would have included sailors and soldiers, their wives, a gaggle of camp followers, and various children. A number of families have been welcomed into the Regiment over the years, and their children have literally grown up in the Regiment. If you would like to ask specific questions about bringing a family into Regiment membership, we'll put you in touch with a member family who will be pleased to answer your questions.

Meetings and Membership

The Regiment typically meets virtually on Thursdays with extra meetings as needed before the encampment.. Meetings generally involve discussions of current issues, policy, drilling, governance, and equipment. New members may be introduced at the meetings.

A one-year membership in the Regiment is $20 per adult and $5 per child under 18. Dues are payable in January of the year, or at the time a new member joins.
